The Artist

Jordan Danger is an award-winning ceramicist, sculptor, and painter.

Jordan is an emerging Canadian queer artist living in Ottawa, Ontario. Living with an invisible disability inspires her exploration of functionality—the intersection of art and craft, form and purpose. Working primarily in clay, mixed media, and paint, her background in illustration and animation shapes her design approach.

Her work has appeared in Ceramics Art + Perception Magazine, and she received awards for People’s Choice and Best Sculptural Piece at the Ottawa Guild of Potters’ juried exhibitions in 2025, 2021, and 2020. Her solo show “Electric Sheep” ran in 2024 at The City of Ottawa Archives Gallery, and in 2018 her solo exhibition ‘No Green Without Blue’ debuted at the Shenkman Arts Centre.

“I strive to create pieces that invite touch and connection,” she says. “By blurring the line between craft and fine art, I seek a middle ground where work is both artfully made and universally accessible.”
