Jordan sculpts each sleeping rabbit, mouse, and fox before firing them in various ceramic techniques: electric firing, raku, and obvara are the main styles. Each technique is different, but the results are consistent: sweet, sleeping creatures that remind us how important our own rest and recovery really is.
Jordan hand-makes each nest from Canadian wool, intertwining yarn, embroidery thread, and twigs for added touches. The entire creation process of these diminutive art pieces is meditative.
